(Make an image, scrawled note stuffed into the tubing)
Year 15
History began with an explosion, one can assume, that was 15 years ago. Though no one particularly remembers what left the great crater in the Southwestern part of what we now know as The City, Citizens remember waking up. The details were mysterious, even ages of individuals were more like basic nebulous knowledge than anything concrete. At best, a Citizen remembered their name and their age, at worse they were stumbling and strangers to even themselves.
When we crawled out of that hole there were few children among us. One baby, a little girl if I recall. She was with a boy of about five. The rest of us, who even knows aside from the Librarian? Tammy, that's her name. Remember it. Because this may not be … no, it IS NOT the first time you've woken up here.
You may very well be me! Imagine that, curiously reading my own words without recalling the penning of them? Regardless, I came back here, to the Return Point, though it was not the wisest choice I could have made. I traded everything I had for this mutation, you see. In an attempt to figure something out.
I'm getting ahead of myself and this won't make any sense, even if you are me. I'm dying and I learned nothing.
Coming back here is not going to help.
